Two computers stolen from Panchayat office

Thanjavur: Unidentified thieves who struck at the locked village Panchayat office at Govindapuram near Kumbakonam in the early hours today, decamped with two computers kept in the office.

The unidentified thieves had gained entry into the Panchayat office by breaking open its lock.

Based on a complaint lodged by the Panchayat secretary Pasupathi, the Thiruvidaimarudur police have registered a case. A search is on for the culprits.
