Two killed, three injured as car turns turtle at hairpin bend

Two persons were killed and three others, including two teenage girls, sustained serious injuries, when the car in which they were travelling turned turtle near Kalhatti on Ooty-Mysore Road today.

The five, the residents of R G Nagar in Bengalurr were returning, after attending a marriage, when the mishap occured, following a brake failure at 36th hairpin bend, leading
to the death of Vasudevan (55) and Ramesh (50), police said.

Rajendran (37) Vichitra (15) and Teja (13), sustained serious injuries and were admitted to the Government Hospital here.
