Two women die of dengue, H1N1 in Coimbatore

Coimbatore : Two women, both from Tirupur, died of dengue and H1N1, one at the Government Hospital and the other at a private one here.

Kavitha (24) of Kannivadi in Tirupur district had been suffering from fever for the last few days and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital there.

She was brought and admitted to the Government hospital here on November 2, where she was diagnosed for dengue, hospital sources said..

She died this morning, they said.Similarly, Valarmathi (45) of Pushanagar in Tirupur had been undergoing treatment in a private hospital for the last 15 days.

Tests revealed that she was suffering from H1N1 and she was shifted to special ward, where she died late last night, police said.
