VAOs stage demo against RDO

Thanjavur: Members of the Tamil Nadu Village Administrative Officers Welfare Association staged a demonstration in Thanjavur today condemning the revenue divisional officer (RDO) for not following the norms during the general counselling held for transfer of VAOs.
Led by the association general secretary Bhagyanathan, the VAOs staged demonstration in front the railway station pressing their demands. They urged the District Collector to immediately revoke the transfer order issued by the RDO. They alleged that the RDO had not followed the norms prescribed by the state government during the general counselling which held in Thanjavur recently.
