Members of the Indian Blind Cricket team called on Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev at Hyderabad recently and sought his blessings for the coming T20 world cup for the visually challenged.

The championship is beginning in New Delhi on January 29. In the inaugural match, hosts India will take on the West Indies. The finals will be played in Bengaluru.

The tournament has been organised by the Cricket Association for Blind in India at a cost of Rs. 24.4 crores.

Ajay Reddy, captain of the Indian team, said that it was a privilege to meet the Sadhguru and receive his blessings. “The Yoga Guru, on seeing us said ‘May Cricket light up your lives’. He has invited us all to the Isha Yoga Center at Coimbatore. We are interested in learning yoga,” he said.
