Xmas tree made using pet bottles promotes recycling

With the motto “Reuse, Reduce, Regenerate and Recycle,” a Christmas tree created using 1000+ pet bottles is the centre of attraction this Christmas at Residency Towers.
The 8-metre-tall tree is made up of leaf-shaped carvings made out of pet bottles, further painted in the Xmas colours of red and green. To give shape and support, dried branches and recycled paper have been used.
Erine Louis, General Manager of Residency Towers said, “The preparations started four months back and the team under the leadership of the executive housekeeper made this a reality.”
He further added, “This time we are going to do all decorations with recycled items and not planning to buy imported decorative items. Our guest are also appreciating this innovative idea.”
