Cherpulasherry police today seized two kilo grams of marijuana from a bus passenger near Walayar toll booth.
The highway patrol police, during their routine check, seized 200 packets of marijuana from Prashanth (21), who was on his way to Trissur from Coimbatore in a TNSTC bus.
According to Cherpulasherry inspector E. Gopi, Prashanth procures the drug in Coimbatore and sells it to students in Trissur.
Prashanth was produced in the court. “We shall begin the interrogation soon,” Gopi said.
