Cong leader KV Thomas all praise for Modi’s ‘efficiency’

Kochi: In an embarrassment to Congress, former Union Minister and senior party leader K V Thomas, MP, hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efficiency.
Modi was enthusiastic and had the capability to convince people about his resolutions and action, Thomas said while inaugurating the valedictory function of Kerala Management Association national conference here.

A former chemistry professor, Thomas said he was more comfortable dealing with Modi than with the leaders of his own party. Modi was able to impress others about his position on demonetisation and GST.
Thomas added that he was not going into who was right and who was wrong in politics. The Public Accounts Committee had sought clarifications from Modi about the difficulties faced by the public due to demonitisation.
Modi promised that things would become normal before December 31, 2016, and this turned out to be a reality. There were no communal riots during BJP rule.Modi had excellent management skills which helped him solve issues, he added.
Thomas said that he had differences with Modi over political ideologies, but it was not possible to ignore his ability and good qualities.
