150 traffic personnel deployed near VOC Grounds

More than 150 traffic personnel have been deployed around VOC Park Grounds here to mange the traffic.
Nearly 10,000 students have been camping in the grounds for the last three days demanding the conduct of Jallikattu.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) S. Saravanan today appealed to the agitators and the public to cooperate with the police in ensuring free flow of traffic. “There will be minor traffic diversion. Parking facilities have been arranged inside the VOC Grounds,” he said.
“Police personnel have been very good to us and they are handling the situation very nicely,” an agitator said.
