A large number of IOB Colony Marudamalai residents in Coimbatore this morning gathered at the Patti Vinayagar temple to offer special prayers & bhajans on the eve of the Ayodhya Ram idol prana pratishta Organized by Arshavidyalaya Marudamalai, the event was marked with religious fervor and devotion with scores of children and women enthusiastically singing and dancing with kavadi.

This was followed by special prayers to the temple vinayagar and prasadam distribution. Each family was also gifted with 5 clay diyas for lighting on Ram idol Pran Pratshta, according to Swami Gameshaswaroopananda Saraswati of Arshavidyalaya.
