92 fishermen yet to be traced; Ockhi cyclone toll goes up to 24

Kottayam: Ninty Two fishermen who had gone missing in the sea were yet to traced even as the toll in cyclone mounted to 24.

Eleven bodies were recovered on Sunday. So far a total of 183 fishermen have been rescued by different agencies including Indian Navy, IAF, Coast Guard and others, according to Fisheries and Revenue Minstries.

The search will continue until the last fisherman is rescued. More ships and aircraft would be used for this, Union minister Alfons Kannanthanam said.
