Kerala ADGP Sudesh shunted out of Armed Battalion in daughter’s driver assault case

Kochi: ADGP Sudesh Kumar has been shunted out Armed Police Battalion in the wake of allegations against him and his daughter.

Sudesh has not been assigned any charge as per the instructions of the Chief minister office, reports said.

ADGP S Ananthakrishnan will be the new head of the wing. There are unconfirmed reports that the Government may assign him some civil post without uniform.

Meanwhile, a special branch report said that the charges against Sudesh that he and his relatives treated lower staff as slaves were valid. His relatives misused official vehicles for traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur, it said.
