Kerala film awards announced; Indrans best actor

Kochi: Actor Indrans won the 2017 Kerala State Film Award for best actor in ‘Aalorukkam’ and Parvati best actress in ‘Take Off’.
Parvati had won the award in ‘Charlie’ in 2015. Lijo Jose Pellisery was the spotted as Best Director for ‘E Ma You’.
The character actor award was won by Pauly Valsan for her perfomances in `E Ma You’ and `Ottamuri Velicham’. The film Ottamuri Velicham was selected best film directed by Raul Riji Nair.
Alencier Ley Lopez was adjudged best supporting male actor in ‘Thondimuthalum Drikshakshikalum’.Prabha Varma was best lyricist and MK Arjunan best music composer. Gopi Sunder won the award for the best background score for his work in `Take Off’.Singer Shahbaz Aman was best male singer in `Mayanadhi’ Sithara Krishnakumar best female singer for `Vimanam’.
