Kochi: In a landmark judgment, Kerala High Court today allowed a 19-year-old girl to live with an 18-year-old boy. Dismissing the habeas corpus petition filed by the girl’s father, the court said it could not separate the two who shared a live-in relationship which had become rampant in society, reports said.
The court ruled the two could live together and enter into wedlock only after attaining the marriageable age.
The petitioner hailing from Alappuzha prayed that the court direct the police to produce his 19-year-old daughter, who he alleged, was detained by the boy.
