Kochi: Nipah virus continued to claim lives with one more person Abin, 26, falling prey to the infection at Kozhikkode today.
Abin was under treatment at a private hospital. With this the total number of death has gone up to 13.
A total of 15 persons were infected with the disease out of them 13 perished while two are under intensive care. A total of 12 persons are undergoing treatment with suspected nipah infection.
Meanwhile, Indian Council of Medical Research has not given its nod to use the medicines sent from Australia under the initiative of WHO.
